I am preparing a business plan for school and need to predict the sales for the financial segment of my bicycle store. I have no idea how much inventory is sold each month. My store has about 70 different mountain and road bikes with a few accessories and is located in Woodstock. They also perform repairs, replace parts, etc. What should I put for my fees earned?

lets see
you sell 1 bike a day
plus 20 more on the weekend
that is 27 a week
say 100 a month
average cost $700
average profit 25%
how much is that
.25×700x100 = 17500 a month from bike sales
shop fees
say they bill for 3 bikes a day
and 15 on the weekend
21+15=36 a week
36*50*4=7200 a month from service
17500+7200=say 25000
now what are your expenses
salesman
2000
shop guy
1000=3000
25000-3000 = 22000
you have 70 bikes
x450 each is 31,500
interest on that probably 3000 a month
22000-3000=19000
rent
2000 sq feet*5/12= say 1000
19000 -1000 = 18000
utlities say 1000
18000-1000=17000
then you have maybe 20000 tied up in equipment, computers, parts
interest on that is 2000
17000-2000=15000
half the shop fees are parts
15000-3600=11400
your ’salary’ is 11400×12=136800
sounds like a lot
anyway
you can see how this would go with different numbers
wle.
