@SavageLife404 Thanks for pointing that out., I do look dorky in that pause.
pause at 0:34 lol
All I have to say it great video but WTFs up with that big ass wrench. You could take down a power line pole with that thing.
Thanks Gerry for the video. Just what I was looking for. Cheers.
helo mate nice videos, but i have a bmx and i need to remove my rear sproket how do i do that???
@rbandgh3 i already welded it in place. works great since the clutch on the engine lests it coast and idle.
@faitkeeper any bike shop either has one or can order you those sockets. Bring your wheel(s) down to see which one you need. There are a lot of different kinds.
@TheBombBros put a new gear on the left side of the wheel. (It bolts onto the spokes) this will make it so the engine can spine without spinning your pedals.
@yyuuggps3 Yes, it’s the same for a BMX Freewheel.
Same procedure for a BMX? I need to remove my cassette on my bmx so a reply would help alot
@faitkeeper bike shop wanker
size of that rench, like ratchet and clank.
@TheInvertKid buy new bearings..?
how or were can i get a socket piece like that?
cheers very imformative, been wondering for ages how to remove that damn cassette!
@xddorox well, i might just weld it. im not a very experienced welder and i didnt want to mess it up, but i thing i can do it because its an easy job.
thanks for the reply.
@xddorox thanks man thats a real help
@TheBombBros Sorry Bro, that’s way beyond my experience and knowledge. Good luck.
Gerry
okay, im in the process of building a motorized bicycle. “motorcyle”!
but my engines clutch runs on the left, instead of the right like a bike.
so i want to flip my cog but still make it be able to move backwards without welding it down. any ideas? (please note i have tried just turning the tire around, the cassette runs backwars though)
please help ASAP!
much thanks
awesome video, helped me a lot to replace my own cog wheels
ok so i took my cassette of my bmx bike and it is kinda hard to explain but their was bearings on both sides and on the inside ones i am missing a few and when i put it back on their and pedal and stop pedaling it spins un evenly but i found no bearings on the ground
@firstkamandi Dude you just made my week! I’m glad I could help.
Gerry
I spent money on an expensive book that was did not go into enough detail for a novice like myself. I followed the steps you demonstrated in this video and successfully replaced the cassette on my bike. I’ve since sent that book back to Amazon.
your adjustable wrench is huge!
