These are great MTB shoes. The sole is stiff enough that your foot doesn’t flex too much while pedaling, but they are almost as comfortable to walk around in off the bike as a pair of sneakers. They aren’t the prettiest or most “girly” shoes, but if that doesn’t bother you, then they are perfect! The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is that the typical cleat sold in most retail stores (REI, etc.) is not compatible with this shoe. It was more difficult and more work to find the appropriate cleat. Overall, though, I love these shoes! For me they replaced a pair of Specialized shoes that I have ridden in for years and was never really happy with, but I couldn’t find something that I liked enough to replace them at a reasonable price. When I found these, I knew I had it right!
