o Grease the bicycle’s necessary parts. Dry wax lube can be used in dry weather and wet oil during wet weather conditions.
o After returning from a ride, remove the dirt from the bike with water, followed by a smooth cloth to dry. As dirt on a chain and in gears increases friction.
o Do not let the lube or grease stick at the brakes or rims, this may be fatal when brakes are applied as brakes may slip and the bicycle is not able to stop.
